Sometimes I get the feeling some people think that we're rewriting
Zope 3 with every new major release. That all of their code will stop
working. That they need to spend endless hours to port their code.
Well, to be fair, nobody has actually said this. It's just an

Nuxeo just announced on its
website that it will be switching to Java for its upcoming "ECM" (Enterprise
Content Management) products, thus dumping Zope as the basis for their
content management system currently known as CPS. You can read why and how they
want to switch in their FAQ.
This is, of course, sad to hear. I haven't read their whole FAQ yet, so I
won't criticize ...

I just noticed that the Cheese
Shop now has framework categories for Zope 2 and Zope 3. This probably
makes the Cheese Shop the most visible place for your Zope add-on packages.
So, let's go to our setup.py files and add the corrresponding Trove
classifier(s):
setup(name='mypkg',
classifiers=['Framework :: Zope2',
'Framework :: Zope3']
